Scholarship and Grant Opportunities

Botball is a program of the KISS Institute for Practical Robotics(KIPR), and KIPR actively recruits corporate sponsors in an effort to keep registration fees down and to provide financial assistance to potential Botball teams. Scholarships are limited and depend on available sponsors.

Whether you are introducing Botball or the JBC Challenge for the first time or returning to the program, the OERB’s funding can help bring robotics to your classroom.

 

What to Know
Funding is available for both Botball and the JBC Challenge through the KISS Institute for Practical Robotics.

 

Open to classroom and after-school initiatives.

 

A HomeRoom account is required to submit an application. Visit OERBHomeRoom.com to create an account.

 

Applications for the 2026–2027 school year are now open and are accepted year-round until available funding is depleted.

 

Funding is limited, and applications are reviewed as they are received.

 

Applicants will be notified of award decisions within 90 days of submitting their application.
