Interactive Campus Map:
Due to the construction of the new "Iribe Center for CS and Innovation" [https://iribe.cs.umd.edu/] parking will be your first exercise of the day. The official "UMD Transportation Parking Map PDF" [https://transportation.umd.edu/parking/maps/umd-campus-parking-map] outlines all campus parking options. Only use the UNRESTRICTED AFTER 4PM marked parking lots (which are open/available ALL DAY Saturday/Sunday). The "best" options are parking lots B and RR (in Regents Garage) or lots C1 near the Visitor Center and all are just over 1/4 mile walk (approximately). Note that any parking space with a meter is most likely a pay space and may be ticketed for non-payment.
Saturday 8:00am - 4:00pm
Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm
(Staff will be around early at 8am on Sunday to answer any questions that may arise.)
Three students may attend this workshop with a team coach/mentor.
If you opted to reuse any kit parts (Wallaby, lego, etc), be sure and bring those with you to the workshop along with computers and an extension cord/power strip. The rest of the kits (or a full kit if you bought a complete new one) will be handed out upon check-in at the workshop.
There will be a designated lunch time, aprox. 1 hour, Coach/Mentors and Team Members can either bring their own lunch or take this time to go get food. There are a few food options within walking distance.
