The current version of KISS Platform supports the C, C++, Java, and Python languages and the KIPR Link robot controller.
KIPR Link users should be sure to upgrade their firmware to 2.2.1 here in order to download programs to their Link from KISS Platform 5.2.2.
Download and extract the .zip file. Copy the KISS Platform 5.2.2 folder to your Applications folder. KISS IDE 5 is located in the folder label KISS.
Note:

This KISS Platform version is for Mac OS X 10.9 (Maverics) and newer versions of OSX.
Mac OS X users will need to install the latest Xcode and Command Line Tools for their version of OS X prior to installing KISS Platform. This may have come pre-installed on your Mac. If not, it is available from the OS X install disk or Apple as a free download (registration required).

In order to use KISS Platform 5.0.0+ you MUST upgrade the KIPR Link Firmware to 2.0.0+ as well. You can do so here.
Download the Previous version of the KISS Platform for Mac OS X 10.8(5.2.1)

Mac OS X Mountain Lion defaults to preventing applications from unidentified developers or sources from being launched. You’ll discover the message in OS X 10.8 when you try to launch a Mac app that didn’t come from a verified source or from the Mac App Store. You will get an alert similar to this “KISS can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer”.
This security feature is called GateKeeper and here is a link from Apple Support on how to fix the situation so you can run unverified apps on OS X 10.8.

This KISS Platform version is for Mac OS X 10.7 (Snow Leopard). All other versions of the KISS Platform WILL NOT WORK on 10.7.

Please note that archived versions are out of date and may cause unexpected errors. These versions are for specific situations only. If you have not been specifically asked by KIPR staff to install an archived version, the best bet is to install the latest release above.
