KISS Institute for Practical Robotics works with prospective hosts through a simple approval and event-submission process before opening registration to Botball Explorer teams.
Tell us about your organization, community, proposed location, and interest in hosting a Botball Explorer event.
We will schedule a meeting to discuss your proposed event, anticipated participation, venue, and ability to support a successful tournament.
Once approved, your organization may submit complete information for one or more proposed Botball Explorer events.
Host ApprovedSubmit the event date, venue, address, times, tentative schedule, local contact, team capacity, event fee, and additional attendee information.
We will post the approved event, collects registrations and applicable fees, and displays the registered teams on the event page.
Welcome the teams and deliver the local tournament. After the event, we provid the host with 60% of the collected event fees.

Yes. Organizations must contact us and complete an introductory meeting before being approved as a Botball Explorer event host.

No. Approved hosts may offer their event for free or select an event fee of up to $50 per team.
