Workshop – October 20th, 2018 8:00am – 4:00pm
Challenge Day – December 10th, 2018 8:00am – 4:00pm

This Challenge is for middle/high school students to learn and program their own drone to autonomously complete a task. No previous coding experience is necessary. The workshop will teach the basics of the library and set participants up with the knowledge and resources needed to independently continue work on their drone leading up to the Challenge Day. The Challenge Day will be a showcase of all the teams autonomous drones as everyone works to complete the challenge! All programming will be taught using (and the provided library is in) the Python programming language.

The workshop will be led by Dr. Amy McGovern, a CS professor at the University of Oklahoma who developed the python library we will be utilizing in this program. Her drone team won third place in the 2018 Global Conference on Educational Robotics Autonomous Drone Game!

Registration closes Sunday, October 14th.
