Teams can park in the parking lot next to the building (NOT the dirt lot); the gate will be up.
There will be a designated hour for lunch each day. Lunch is NOT provided so please make plans to have students bring their own lunch or visit a nearby restaurant, there are several local options nearby.
Additional Details: Carpool and plan to drop off equipment and then find open parking while the rest of your group is registering/setting up.
Please bring up to 4 people (including at least one adult) to the workshop. Students will go back to their team and convey/teach all the information and skills they learned at the workshop.
Any questions after the workshop about rules needs to be address on the FAQ at www.kipr.org, team home base. We will only answer game related questions there.
This year we have included many different resources for your team on home base. You will see a mechanical build, ideas for structuring your team, PVC build and more.
Please make sure you bring devices (laptop, and charging cord) for every student, a power strip, and parts if you are reusing (list is included). I would also recommend bringing extra Legos, screws, nuts, etc. in case you want to modify your bots. You will also want to bring something to carry your new equipment home.
*At this time every Botball team should have access to their team home base, game docs, etc. When the team was registered you were required to create a username and password to set up the account. This is the log-in username and password for the Botball team to access all resources. If you set a personal password and would like to change it before sharing log in information with students you can visit https://www.kipr.org/sign-in (make sure you are logged out) and then select forgot password. This will send a link to your email where you can set a new team shareable password.
