Houston, TX - Junior Botball Challenge Day
Sat. December 7th, 2019
A Junior Botball Challenge Day is where students show their progress in computer science using hands on autonomous robots. Students work to complete as many challenges as they can. A variety of Challenges are provided so students at different skill levels will be challenged at their appropriate level. Students do not need to have any of the challenges completed before attending.
What does the day look like?
A variety of Challenges will be set up on JBC mat. When students are ready to "conquer" the challenge they will go to the mat and attempt the task. They can do the Challenges in any order. Throughout the day students will be developing code, conquering challenges, and receiving buttons for completion of the challenge. You will also see volunteers and audience members cheering, and giving out high-fives. It's a very fun and relaxing event.
This is a student oriented event. Educators and/or parents should not touch the computers or the robots, even though they are permitted in the pit area.
