Prepare Your Team
Use this checklist to organize your materials, prepare your robot, and make sure your team is ready to begin.
Unpack and organize the controllers, building components, motors, servos, sensors, cables, and game materials included with your kit.
Review the setup instructions for your robot controller and make sure your equipment is powered, connected, and ready to program.
Sign in to Mission Control and review the curriculum, educator materials, and introductory programming activities.
Confirm whether your team will participate in the Discovery or Expedition division and review the requirements for that level.
Review the game table, rules, scoring, and available missions before your students begin designing their robot.
Start with an approachable mission and encourage students to design, build, test, and improve their solution.
