Project Goals:
We are G.E.E.C.s – Girls Educate and Empower with Computers

This video we have made is to show the future of girls in computer science. From the beginning, it has been a male dominated field. Women like Grace Hopper, and Ada Lovelace have set a path for women in Computer Science. Their inventions changed the future for everybody.

Today, they are role models for girls in the field of Computer Science. More girls should experiment with computers, because it can be beneficial for the whole human race. The robotics team at AMSA has benefitted from the exposure to computers at a young age.

With all the experience we have had, we can comfortably transition into the modern high-tech world. We believe that given the opportunity, there will be many more major advances in technology. Hopefully, women will be a key part of this journey.

Computer science has empowered us personally to be more confident in our abilities, and we hope that others will be influenced positively too. Girls should enter robotics because women have the ability and drive to make and do great things.

Men should be motivated to help this cause by encouraging and motivating women to join the scientific field. Together men and women can do amazing things.
