Botball puts cutting edge technology into schools and educates teachers using that equipment to create long-term impact for students for years to come. This national program involves regional workshops and tournaments, as well as a national conference and tournament.

Botball has been supported by NASA, the Naval Research Foundation, and the American Honda Foundation. In 2006, over 300 teams from across the country participated in Botball.
